Since 1989, European local and regional authorities have been working together within POLIS to promote sustainable mobility through the deployment of innovative transport solutions.

The Annual POLIS Conference is Europe’s leading sustainable urban mobility event, providing an opportunity for cities and regions to showcase their transport achievements to a large audience of mobility experts, practitioners, and decision-makers from both the public and private sector.

After a record-breaking edition in 2022, the POLIS Team and conference host and current President City of Leuven are glad to welcome attendees to another fantastic conference.

The plenary sessions focus on the European, urban and regional policy dimensions of sustainable transport and feature high-level speakers, such as ministers, deputy mayors, European Commissioners, and thought leaders from international organisations, academia and the industry.

The technical parallel sessions feature in-depth presentations and discussions on urban transport solutions selected through the open call for speakers.

Registrations for the conference will launch in June, but those interested can already submit an abstract as a speaker until 28 April 2023 or become a sponsor of the conference.
