Shaping the Future of Urban Air Mobility

Rapid urbanisation has intensified the need for a sustainable mobility infrastructure in modern cities and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) provides a cost-effective, green and smart development solution. FF2020 is a project funded by the European Union aiming to become a global leader in solving current environmental, social economic and technological challenges by offering integrated, secure and convenient solutions to European cities.

Our project focuses on developing a state-of-the-art geospatial UAM ecosystem, which includes governance, regulatory and interoperability frameworks; a geospatial digital infrastructure; and an Identity of Things scheme. By implementing and evaluating this innovative solution in five living labs, FF2020 will gain invaluable knowledge that will revolutionise drone infrastructure, autonomous monitoring and last-mile delivery across Europe.
