Diana Trojaniello, Bioengineer, Ph.D. got the BEng degree (2009) and Msc (2011) cum laude in Biomedical Engineering from the University Federico II of Naples, in Italy. She obtained the professional habilitation from the Order of Engineers in Naples. In 2015, she received the Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. During her Ph.D., she focused her research interests on innovative solutions for mobility tracking and movement analysis trough wearable devices and futuristic rehabilitation approaches enhanced by the technology in neurological patients. She spent various research periods abroad (EPFL, University of Virginia, University of Madrid,) as invited visiting researcher. After the PhD she worked as Post-Doc research fellow at University of Sassari in Italy. She spent 3 months as visiting researcher at Oregon Health and Science University, Portland. She practiced as Adjunct Professor at University of Verona and University of Sassari in Biomedical image processing, MRI and CT techniques. Speaker at numerous national and international conferences, including seminars and workshops. She has been a TPC member of several international conferences and has served as a reviewer for some peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Since 2015 she joined the San Raffaele Research Hospital as Senior Researcher at the Center for advanced technology in health and wellbeing, where she actually holds the role of Head of Bioengineering Research Program, managing activities in the area of scientific project management, devising research proposals (mainly H2020) and programs, multidisciplinary and multi-center teams coordination, managing research collaborations and partnerships and negotiates corresponding agreements, junior researcher supervision and mentoring, personnel and budget management. Since 2018, she’s also Adjunct Professor at University Vita-Salute San Raffaele and, since 2020, substitute member of the San Raffaele Research Hospital HTA commission.
