WORK PACKAGE 6

WP6 focuses on developing, implementing and validating the outlined demonstrators. The main objectives of this WP are:

• Coordinating the Living Labs and the demonstrators’ implementation along with the overall project lifetime
• Assessing the regulatory aspects of the identified demonstrators
• Defining specifications of the identified demonstrators to integrate the regulatory, geospatial and governance frameworks in the operating system of cities and ecosystems, making benchmarking possible
• Providing benchmarking to the identified demonstrators
• Developing the physical and digital infrastructure and connectivity that enables UAM to function
• Implementing the identified demonstrators and developing physical drone hubs within the ecosystem or city. This will result in coverage of the operation of transportation, including: High power/weight ratio; fast battery recharge/fuel-cell refill; high level of reliability and fail-safety; low level of noise, emissions and maintenance requirements)
• Showcasing and evaluating the implemented demonstrators, developing business models which have market potential and an affordable pricing model for cities and ecosystems
