The university’s Law and Tech Lab (‘The Lab’) is directly involved in the FF2020 project. The Lab aims to produce cutting-edge research, offer innovative education, and build a creative community of researchers, teachers, students and practitioners at the intersections of law, technology, data science and knowledge engineering.

Digital society begs new questions about how innovative technologies interact with law and justice. Disruptive technology is changing the way in which lawyers work, and legal services are offered. The digital transformation of society through data science has also brought about many different ethical, legal and social issues on privacy, cybersecurity and intellectual property. The Lab fosters research, education and events on these matters.
