With the inauguration of HERA Drone Hub, Zaragoza (Spain) becomes the first European city to authorise drone testing and drone pilot training in the Control Zone (CTR) of an airport region within an urban airspace.

The mayor of Zaragoza stated at the launch that Ayuntamiento de Zaragoza (the city council), a Flying Forward 2020 consortium partner, will use the Hera Drone Hub for the development of FF2020 demonstrators.
